Tired... but still blessed.

You know how sometimes you feel so good one day and then the next, WAMO! Well I'm not doing that one today. I feel like we're the only parents who can't get their kiddos to listen, eat, sleep, or pee the way we ask them too. Really, is it that hard to remember that we WIPE, FLUSH, WASH!! I say it a MILLION times a day!! I know, that's exaggerating but STILL! COME ON!!!
Anyway, the girls are wonderful as usual and they totally wear Skye and I out. I have come to enjoy one thing though... in order to get them to sleep, we have to keep their door open. We can't have a TV blasting or anything like that so Skye and I read! Well... I have always read, and I thoroughly enjoy it, but getting my husband to sit down and read is a whole other ordeal. BUT... here lately he's been stuck, and reading is our new pastime. The quietness together is wonderful, and I enjoy the quiet moments when I look over and there, sitting in my chair, is the love of my life! At home, with me and the kiddos. He's here, not somewhere overseas, or off in some bar. He's here with me! What a blessing!
