I meant to add the lastest pictures of the girls. Here's how they were taken!!

Girls: laughter!

Sewing to keep the mind busy!

Ok... I don't know if all of you have experienced a deployment, or something related to it, but it's manageable up to the last 2 weeks. THEN, you just about want to pull your hair out strand by strand because THAT Would be easier then watching the time on the clock SLOWLY go by for 2 weeks.

We are in our final stages of this here deployment and although I am a 3 time survivor (238 total days) I can not keep myself busy enough because it seems like every minute is about 10 minutes long. So... I'm started cleaning out the wazoo, baking cookies, sorting, decorating for fall, and sewing. Oh my beloved sewing...you have never failed me!!

I got my sister's curtains done tonight, for the almost new baby's room. I did a tote purse for my cousin, and a diaper bag tote for my best friend. I have a few more items to get done... and to be honest, these next two days are going to just about send me to the funny farm!! IF anyone would like to call and help speed up time, I am always willing to talk, listen, laugh!!

Worth the Wait!!

I have been wanting to get window treatment for the house. We've been here 6+ months (technically) and I haven't put up any curtains. Nothing makes you feel like a house isn't a home w/o your own touches. Problem is... I hate spending money. I hate buying stuff for this house because I know that I'll not live here for LONG... meaning 5 years or more. So... it's so hard to spend money on something that I know I might not use in another house.
Anyways.... I saw these curtains and wanted them... I liked them A LOT. So...when I saw the price, the were a MUST HAVE... $4 a valance!! They were $19.50 a valance!!! I WAS PUMPED!!!

The other picture is of the Giraffe family Zoey created out of leggos. My question... why am I the weird looking one??

Keeping Busy!

Since arriving home, I've been doing stuff to keep busy. With the girls help and My Mom's who decided to fly in for my birthday, I got the front of the house weeded and put new mulch in along with a couple Mum's to spice it up. I also got into something that I was allergic to, check out that eye!!!
Skye will be home soon, I can almost say less then 2 weeks. Zoey loves preschool and Allie is totally bored without her. I love it and LOVE picking her up. She's so happy and so excited!!
All is well!

Zoey's Preschool Adverture!

Last week Zoey started Preschool! We've decided to send her off this year to an Episcopal School where she is super excited to go. She goes a few times a week for a few hours. It's very exciting...although you wouldn't know based on her. I've asked repeatedly "What did you do today?" "How was it?" "Did you learn Anything new?" I get the yeah, it's fine, no did learn a thing routine!! I'm positive she's enjoying it though because she wants to go and practically counts the hours until her next time!!

check it out!

After we dropped her off for her first day, I asked Allie...So, what do we do now? She replied with: "Let's go pick her back up!" We hadn't even made it back to the car!!
